DecemberBinding Your QuiltThe block was named Mrs. Cleveland's Choice by Ladies Art Company, credited as the first mail order company in St. Luis. The pattern was LAC #144, mentioned in an 1895 catalogue which included 272 patterns. Carrie Hall and Rose Kretsinger reffered to the block as "County Fair" in their 1935 book, Romance of the Patchwork Quilt in America.
Fabric Selection: Select four different Backgrounds, one dark for Center Square and Middle Triangles, one medium and one dark for Outside Triangles, and a medium and dark for strips.
