Summer Porch is a fresh as white wicker rockers covered with comfy colorful pillows on a wrap-around porch. It's easy to make from a One Block Repeat, made oversized and squared to perfection! Dig into your pastel stash, or treat yourself to some new fabric prints in summertime florals. Quick as a bug you cut squares on the diagonal, and sew them back together with a refreshing light Lattice.

For a bold, contemporary look, check out the Stained Glass Quilt made by Patricia Knoechel on page 185 in Quilt Through the Seasons. Her blocks are bright Batiks and prints with a black Lattice, set together in a symmetrical design. It's a summer fireworks show of color!
